THIS STUDY IS ON HOLD DUE TO COVID-19
-------> Details for ages 12-17 here: https://youthlab.weebly.com/teens.html
Participants will be compensated for their time:
$25 for adults/$15 for minors, plus a bonus prize.
Brock students may choose to receive course credit in lieu of payment.
The study has three main components:
Questionnaires: You will answer questions on the computer that ask about your background, beliefs, personality traits, and past experiences, including with risky activities, like lawbreaking, sexual behavior, and substance use.
Computer tasks: You will complete several computer tasks—some twice—that involve making judgments and decisions. For some tasks, you can earn small or large bonus prizes based on your performance. Some tasks may be completed in the presence of another study participant.
Physiological recordings: We measure height and weight, as well as waist and hip circumferences. We also collect electrophysiological signals through sensors applied to your hands and torso; and we record eye movements with a camera.
Participation takes approximately 2-3 hours and is completed at Brock University.
